Rare Colt Single Action Army revolver with long flute cylinder. Beginning in 1913 Colt decided to incorporate left over Model 1878 cylinders into the production of their Single Action revolvers. Those cylinders have a longer flute than standard Single Action Army cylinders, hence the term "Long Flute". The serial number range for Long Flute revolvers is 330,000 - 331,480, subject revolver being serial number 331,133 falls within that range. Features two piece hard rubber grips. CONDITION: Refinished barrel, ejector housing, and cylinder. Traces of case color on frame. Clean bore with sharp rifling. MKS
