1940 vintage Colt Single Action Army revolver, serial number 357006. 5 - 1/2" round barrel chambered in .357 Magnum with blade front sight and frame square notch rear. 2 piece plain replacement bone grips with silver Colt medallions on either side. Accompanied by correspondence with Paul Szaymaszek indicating that there is no factory letter available. CONDITION: Excellent, with most of the original bluing remaining with high edge wear and handling marks throughout. Frame retains slightly faded but vibrant case colors. Replacement grips are excellent with no major signs of distress but are proud. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand. Bore is slightly frosted with crisp rifling. TON
