According to the factory letter this gun was shipped nickel to "BOWMAN'S / 50 MAIN STREET / NORTHPORT, LONG ISLAND, NY / NOVEMBER 26, 1958 / IN A SHIPMENT OF 1". At some point it was engraved by J. Michael ENG. It has 90% coverage and is scroll engraved with a punch dot background. It has three panel scenes. The first is of a horse head, it is on the left side on the rebound shield. There is a mountain lions head on the loading gate. The third is of a Texas long horn. This one is at the top of the backstrap. On the backstrap it is monogramed to "H.B.F. HOUSTON TEXAS". It is adorned with two piece ivory grips. CONDITION; Gun has been engraved through the original nickel finish. Bright and shiny bore with sharp lands and grooves. The grips are mint. Comes in a ARVO OJALA single loop drop holster rig. The initials H.B.F. are tooled into the belt on the inside back. An exquisite Colt SAA. REW
