Manufactured by Winchester in 1927, this Model 94 rifle features all blue finish, a heavy 26" round barrel chambered in .30 W.C.F., button magazine, smooth walnut furniture, and a flat serrated buttplate. Receiver and forend cap both feature custom engraving. Receiver engraving features scrolls and punch engraving enclosed within a nick and punch style border, with the right side exhibiting a scene of a moose and the left side a close-up of said moose. Forend cap bears a matching nick and scroll engraving found on the receiver. Usual Winchester proofs are present on the top of the receiver and barrel. CONDITION: Receiver retains good amounts of it's blue finish, showing several small areas of cleaned pitting and with the balance showing thinning to a pleasant brown patina. Barrel retains the majority of it's blue finish, showing an area of light thinning towards the breech, a few scratches, as well as some scattered handling marks all around. Bore is bright, exhibiting some oxidation and retaining good rifling throughout. Stock and forend are good as lightly sanded and revarnished, showing a few nicks and handling marks.
