Finding these early, 1st Generation pre-letter Pythons in high condition is getting increasingly hard as the vast majority of the early guns were purchased for use, not strictly for show like most of the more recent models. This example is in good enough condition warrant an old two piece box. Features vent rib, solid full lug, adjustable sights, target hammer and "Smiley Face" checkered walnut grips with gold medallions. CONDITION: This beautiful gun has a very light drag line and a hint of wear at muzzle, retaining fully 99% of its original, early Colt high polish royal blue finish. Grips are excellent to near mint with no chips. Fine bore and action. You should be grabbing these early high condition Pythons whenever you see them.
