Manufactured 1896 through 1903. Chambered for .32 Smith & Wesson. Serial number 9205. 4-1/4" barrel with two piece Smith & Wesson factory hard rubber grips. This is the genesis of the swing-out cylinder system for Smith & Wesson. The cylinder is opened by pulling forward on the ejector rod. Matching serial numbers are observed on frame, barrel cylinder and internally on the right grip. The revolver shows no indication of ever having been fired and no wear is present. The gun is housed in its numbers matching box with full label and special instructions on the operation of the first model printed in the lid. CONDITION: Extremely fine to new. The gun has no wear but some very light finish loss from being stored in its box for over 100 years. The box is good and solid with slight distress internally. TDW
