Manufactured in 1934 as an easy to carry .22 caliber snubnose revolver popular with postal workers among others. Classic configuration with 2" tapered barrel, half moon front sight, frame notch rear sight, fluted 6-shot swing out cylinder, and checkered trigger. Blued finish throughout with 2-piece checkered walnut grips inset with silver Colt medallions. CONDITION: Near excellent. Nearly all of the factory applied finish is retained with a few handling marks, light silvering at the muzzle, a faint turn line, and some cleaned pin prick oxidation along the back strap. Grips are fine showing only light wear near the base of the right grip. Fine bright bore. An attractive example of a hard to find pre-War Colt revolver. BAS
