Manufactured in 1938. 6" tapered round barrel marked on left "COLT" "OFFICERS / MODEL" ".22 LONG RIFLE" with target sights. 6-shot fluted swing out cylinder and rampant Colt marked frame with matted flat top and checkered back strap. Blued finish throughout. Fit with a set of attractive 2-piece checkered walnut Roper-style grips. CONDITION: Excellent. Nearly all of the original blued finish is retained with some light silvering around muzzle, a faint turn line, and a few scattered handling marks. Grips are very fine showing only a few minor marks. Excellent bright bore displaying sharp rifling. Mechanically fine. BAS
