This is an extremely nice 1894 takedown. It features a full octagon barrel, full magazine, sporting sights, blue finish with case colored lever and hammer. CONDITION: Hammer and lever still retain generous amounts of original color. Excellent stocks are proud to metal with some light added finish. The barrel and tube still retain 90% original blue just starting to thin. The sides of frame retain about 85% of their original factory high polish blue that has thinned at base. Bolt retains 95% original blue. The tang has an extra hole where sight once rested. The bore is near mint with sharp rifling while action is crisp. A nice clean early rifle.
