This fine, full deluxe Winchester 1894 rifle features half octagon-half round barrel, checkered pistol grip and forearm, and takedown. The 1894 was not commonly ordered with special barrel features. The fact that this rifle is a full takedown deluxe with high condition makes it a great prize. The two piece American walnut stocks are very fine with sharp checkering and a very modest amount of finish wear at wrist and rear of hand guard. The blue finish on the barrel and magazine is very fine with edge wear at muzzle and bottom of takedown extension. Receiver is equally fine with over 95% factory blue finish remaining with typical edge wear and finish loss at edges and high points. The case colored hammer and lever are exceptionally fine with bright vivid colors with bottom of lever having turned patina. A very fine full deluxe in a great caliber.
