Inland manufactured M1 carbine with Inland marked barrel dated 8-44 and marked with flaming bomb cartouche. Serial number indicates manufacture between August 1944 and November 1944 in the fourth block of production. Gun was rebuilt for Korea or export with bayonet lug added and stock is cut for M2 switch. Stock is birch with the Italian cartouche marked in stock. Gun has late rear sight and unmarked front. Comes with 15 round clip, oiler and green G.I. style sling. CONDITION: Barrel has 50% arsenal applied refinish. ME reading: 2. Action retains 50% finish with function wear marks. Wood has been cleaned with Italian cartouche still visible. Light scratches and dings and mechanically sound. Would make a great shooter.
