Ithaca Field Grade Flues shotgun made by the Ithaca Gun Company, Ithaca, New York, in 1913. Comes with provenance from descendant of original owner who was an early Iowa settler. Unique 30" Smokeless Powder Steel barrels in 16 gauge (odd length for 16) with extractors, full matted rib with bead front sight, 2 - 3/4" chambers, and Full and Full chokes. Case hardened boxlock action with double triggers, 3 position safety, and Pointing Dog and Ithaca logo. Checkered walnut round knob pistol grip stock with added leather period boot and matching plain splinter forearm with added pearl diamonds with friction release. CONDITION: 90% fading original blue with traces of case coloring with most in protected areas. Traces of original varnish with added inlays, some missing, and added leather boot. Small crack behind tang. Good bores and mechanics. DLM
