Made circa 1947, this lot features a Frank Knickerbocker designed Ithaca 4E single barrel trap fitted with Brilley choke. Features blued ventilated rib barrel with ejector, figured Fleur-de-Lis checkered walnut capped pistol grip stock with silver shield, adjustable Morgan pad, checkered beavertail forearm with latch release,and case hardened engraved receiver with archer on left side, trapshooter on right and floral pattern on the trigger guard and receiver bottom. Comes with twin beads and case of three chokes. CONDITION: Barrel retains 90% blue with bright bore. Action retains 90% case. Wood has 90% of an added coat of varnish with an added Morgan pad. Checkering is visible but worn on forearm where you hold it . Trigger guard has been reblued. Mechanically solid and functions fine.
