A vintage circa 1909, 26" dove tailed barreled game gun with 2 - 1/2" chambers, ejectors, swamped concave rib and steel round front bead sight. Rib reads "JOSEPH LANG & SON, 102, NEW BOND STREET, LONDON". The neutral cast gun is stocked with a honey colored piece of European walnut which has a checkered pommel grip (semi pistol), drop points, oval with initials (HLP) and a ventilated brown Pachmayer pad. Vintage forend with smooth checkering and an Anson push button release. The gray patina sidelock action is built with a single mechanical trigger, auto safe and is engraved with fine English rose & scroll. The gun comes with a plastic travel hard case. CONDITION: Good. Barrels with very little original black left, but are sound. Stock appears to be an older replacement with good strong lines, figure with visible handling wear. Forend with missing left side tip, smooth checkering, visible tarnish to hardware and fully operational. Action is mechanically sound. Engraving is good. Case is good. A good shooter. CP
