Lot consists of (A) Winchester Model 12 hammerless slide action shotgun made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1919. Winchester nickel steel smoothbore plain barrel with Winchester Address and marked with early "Model 1912" marking. Blued takedown receiver with push button safety with matted top and blued 2/3rds tubular magazine. Walnut plain half pistol grip stock with Winchester hard buttplate. Walnut corrugated forearm. CONDITION: 80% fading blue with balance turning a silvery patina. Traces of varnish with areas having a dry appearance. (B) Winchester Model 1897 hammer slide action shotgun made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1914. Blued plain smoothbore barrel with bead front sight and Winchester Address and patents on top. Blued solid frame receiver with 2 buttons and blued 2/3rds magazine. Walnut plain round knob pistol grip stock with steel smooth buttplate. Walnut corrugated forearm. CONDITION: 60% blue with areas of discoloration and surface corrosion. Action has 70% blue with some handling wear. Wood has traces of varnish with dry appearance and usage marks and dings.
