Lot consists of: (A) Manufactured 1908. Features 30" barrel with full choke. Square knob walnut stock, Winchester logo hard rubber buttplate (broken) 80% barrel blue that is drifting. 60% frame blue blending to gun metal gray. Walnut stock is proud to metal with no cracks and its original varnish mostly intact with numerous impressions. (B) Manufactured 1954. Square knob walnut stock, Winchester logo hard rubber buttplate, flat bottom ribbed forearm. CONDITION: Walnut stock is excellent, proud to metal, and not cracked. Metal is basically grey patina with sharp legends. Mirror bore and fine action. (C) Manufactured 1917. Square knob walnut stock, Winchester logo hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: 80-85% overall original blue finish on both barrel and frame with balance drifting to soft patina. Wood is excellent, proud to metal with just light impressions. Mirror bore and fine action. This is the gem of the lot but all three are good solid goods worthy of further use. All three are standard takedown models. The exposed hammer Model 1897 Winchester shotgun was a mechanical update from the original Model 1893 and went on to become one of the most beloved and widely produced pump action shotguns of the 20th century rivaled only by the Company's hammerless Model 1912.
