Lot consists of (A) Argentine Navy Contract FN-49. Crisp Argentine Navy crests. Numbers on the gun and stock match. Magazine is unmarked. Crude import mark under the barrel. Rifle still shows signs of heavy grease in the action. Matching bayonet still packed with storage grease. CONDITION: Overall good. Metal retains 80% of its original paint finish. Stock is very good with a few dings and scratches. Bore is clean with decent rifling left. Magazine is very good. (B) Venezuelan FN-49 contract rifle with bayonet, non military sling and aftermarket scope and mount. Gun retains a fair amount of grease in the action. Crest is visible. Numbers match. Stock is unmarked. No visible import mark. Scope and mount are not military. CONDITION: Overall very good. Metal retains 80% of its original finish. Stock is very good with light handling marks. Bore is clean with great rifling left. Scope and mount are good to very good. Optic is clear. Bayonet is fair with wear. A nice group of FN-49's for your collection or the range. JA
