Manufactured circa 1921-1925 with 24" octagon barrel chambered in .22 Long Rifle with full length magazine tube, bead blade front sight, and rifle rear sight. Barrel is marked "The Marlin Firearms Corporation. / NEW HAVEN. CONN. U.S.A.- PATENTED" on top barrel flat near rear sight. Frame is case colored with blue takedown screw. 2-piece plain walnut stock and pistol gripped forearm with rifle forearm cap and checkered hard rubber rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent plus, with virtually all of the original bluing remaining with scattered light wear. Frame retains bright case colors with scattered areas of freckling. Stock and forearm are excellent with light handling marks and minor chip at buttplate. Action is tight and crisp. Bore is bright with sharp rifling.
