Parker side by side shotgun originally made in 1927 by the Parker Brothers Gun Company as a "VH" Grade and upgraded to A-1 Special Quality sometime after by master European and Browning engraver Angelo Bee. Parker serialization book lists this gun as a 28" 20 gauge with pistol grip stock. Blued 28" 20 gauge Vulcan steel barrels with Parker addressed matted concave rib, extractors, bead front sight, fixed Improved Modified and Improved Modified chokes, and 2 - 5/8" chambers. Barrels are floral engraved and gold banded at muzzles and breech. Original case-hardened "0" frame has been engraved with full coverage chiseled floral pattern with 3 gold quail inlays on left side, retrieving dog holding a pheasant on bottom, and 2 gold grouse inlays on right. Lugs have been engraved with chiseled oak leaf pattern. Original double triggers gold washed with coin finished engraved straight grip trigger guard with chiseled floral engraving and gold inlaid flying dove. Action has original non-automatic safety with action signed on lower left-hand corner "A BEE". Checkered wrist and side panels with fleur-de-lis pattern carving on a highly figured walnut English straight grip stock with Old English solid rubber pad. Matching checkered walnut fleur-de-lis carved beavertail forearm with coin finished and floral chiseled engraved Anson and Deeley latch. Comes in green canvas fitted trunk case with original purchase slip from Cabela's for $10,000 in 2006. CONDITION: 98% Overall condition with excellent bores and mechanics and light handling wear. Case in excellent condition. A beautiful work of art and gunsmithing by a well known master.
