Considered by many to be one of the finest slide-action .22 rifles ever made. This example is standard in all respects and features: 23" round barrel, sporting sites, takedown, 2/3rds magazine, blue finish, walnut stock with black composite Winchester buttplate, and grooved round walnut forend. CONDITION: Barrel retains approximately 95% of its original factory rust blue, as does tube. The frame and trigger guard retain approximately 95% of its original Winchester high polish blue finish. The stocks are proud to middle, exhibiting only minor handling marks. The action works perfectly and the bore is sharp and clean. Other than some normal high-edge wear, this an extremely clean all-original pre-War example.
