Manufactured in 1961 with a very limited production of 503 total guns with 25 being nickel and balance blue and case color finishes. 3" barrel with two line barrel address and marked "COLT SHERIFFS MODEL" on left side of barrel. Serial number 0359SM found on frame and internally on grips as well as backstrap and trigger guard. Blue finish with vivid case color frame with two piece walnut grips that are factory numbered to gun internally. CONDITION. Good with 70% blue finish remaining on barrel from holster use. Cylinder retains 80% blue finish. Bore is excellent as are chambers. Backstrap and trigger guard retain over 90% finish with slight thinning from use. Grips are good with some minor impressions and scratches at base. Comes in numbers matching factory original ox with excellent label and strong corners. TDW
