These were only made in 1913. It has 28 inch round barrel with musket type forend with handguard. Marked “AMERICAN BOY SCOUT” on the left side of receiver. There is a screw hole for a bayonet lug on the bottom of the barrel towards the muzzle. "126" is stamped into the left side of the stock. Serial number of the gun is located on the bottom of the stock just behind the receiver. CONDITION: Receiver retains 40% original case colors. Barrel, band, and buttplate retain a pleasing patina with some light pitting, a bit more moderate along the wood line. All markings are clear. Wood has some dings and handling marks, there are two holes in the right side of the butt. There is some scraping to the left side of the stock. Ding in the muzzle. Bore is fine with sharp rifling. Good mechanical function. GR
