Post Korea Springfield M1 Garand with canvas sling. 1956 dated receiver with a correct Springfield 1956 production barrel. All parts appear to be Springfield and are period correct. Stock is Department of Defense marked on the left side. It also retains its U.S. acceptance stamp. Sling is unmarked. CONDITION: Overall excellent. Metal is very clean retaining 95% of its original finish. Stock is excellent with minor handling marks. Bore with crisp rifling. Muzzle measures 1, throat measures 0. Sling is excellent. A great example of a post Korea correct M1 Garand. JA
