Introduced in 1896 and made until 1916. Easily identified by the conventional trigger with guard rather than spur trigger. This pistol has a 15" barrel in .22 caliber. Matching number on barrel and frame and stock. The front sight is a fixed globe and the rear sight is a folding leaf style referred to as Stevens Combination Sights (Page 81). CONDITION: Nickel plated frame retains 95% of its original finish with some minor bubbling of surface. Barrel retains at least 90% factory blue with some patina showing through finish and some minor age freckling. Strong clean rifling. Working extractor. 90% original nickel on matching metal stock. This sights featured can be found mounted on this pistol on page 81 in the book entitled "Stevens Pistols and Pocket Rifles" by Kenneth Cope. Grips are excellent. This is an fine example of an all matching Stevens.
