Factory letter states this gun was shipped on February 24th, 1927 and delivered Wolf & Klar of Fort Worth, Texas. It left the factory with a 5" barrel, blue finish and checkered walnut grips. Built on the five screw N frame. A meer 4,976 were made between 1926 and 1941. During its use in Texas, it was after-market nickle plated and now sports a pair of stag grips. Retains about 90% of the reapplied nickle finish with sharp legends. Indexes fine and has a strong bore.
