First year, post-war, five screw, six shot double action revolver built on the square butt N frame. Referred to as a transition model. According to the factory letter, this revolver shipped July 22th, 1946, and delivered to Cork Hardware Co. of El Paso, Texas with a 5" barrel, blue finish, and checkered walnut walnut Magna grips. 23 identical models billed at $31.60 each. Has all matching numbers on barrel and cylinder, as well as stamped into right grip panel. Features case colored hammer and trigger, sports silver medallion diamond checkered walnut grips numbered to gun in excellent condition. Revolver has seen very little use, shows some light muzzle wear, some high edge cylinder and frame wear and a light drag line. Fine action and near mint bore. 97-98%.
