This lot features a US Model 1917 service rifle in full original military issue condition. Manufactured at the Eddystone factory at Eddystone, Pennsylvania in August of 1918. Barrel is marked with "RA" and flaming bomb cartouches. Action has flaming bomb cartouche with Remington marked bolt. Stock is marked with "W" on the end for Winchester. Original military sights. Comes with World War II vintage green woven sling. CONDITION: Barrel retains 60% original military finish with an excellent bore. Action and metal parts have 50% finish remaining with operating marks. Stock is in nice original condition with sharp cartouches. Mechanically good and functions fine.
