1905 vintage Model 1886 lightweight rifle. Tapered round barrel with half length magazine tube. Plain straight grip walnut stock and forearm. Shotgun style stock with hard rubber buttplate. CONDITION: Very good overall. Barrel mostly a blue-grey patina mixed with 10-15% original blue. Balance of gun a grey patina. Bore is dark. Wood is sound. Stock has been been "re-shaped" with an unusual comb. Action is crisp. -MKS-
