Manufactured in 1899 with 26" octagon barrel chambered in .30 WCF (.30-30 Winchester Center Fire) with blade front sight, full length magazine tube, and rifle rear sight. 2 piece plain walnut stock and forearm complete with rifle forearm cap and rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining a vast majority of its reapplied blue finish with light handling marks and areas of freckling underneath bluing. Stock and forearm are excellent with no major signs of distress and are proud near intersections with metal with gaps near tangs. Mechanically fine. Bore is frosted with abrasion throughout and well-defined rifling.
