1926 vintage Winchester 1895, serial number 419155. 24" round barrel in .405 Winchester Centerfire with blade front sight and rifle rear sight. 2 piece plain walnut stock and forearm with rifle buttplate. CONDITION: Good, with a vast majority of the original bluing remaining on barrel with front half of barrel covered in a protective layer of varnish with visible original bluing underneath. Frame is a brown patina with areas of varnish throughout. Stock and forearm are very good as sanded and refinished with ebony forearm tip having been filled and rifle buttplate not fitting well. Mechanically fine. Bore is bright with sharp rifling.
