Take down rifle made 1930 (per the Winchester Collectors Website). 2 line patent address and company address. Nickel Steel markings, with the trade mark on the left side of the chamber. Winchester proofs on the barrel and frame. Half round, half octagon barrel with a full length magazine tube. Blade front sight with buckhorn v-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Light oil finished wood stock and forearm. Crescent metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% with the frame having more wear, forming a solid gray patina. Wood is excellent with only a few handling marks. Forearm has no signs of cracks. Bore is bright with strong rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
