Made 1903. Patent dates found on the barrel, in front of the rear sight. Model markings on the top of the tang. Full octagon barrel with full tube. Blade front sight with factory buckhorn v-notch rear. Factory blued finish on the metal components. Oil finished wood stock and forearm. Crescent metal butt plate. CONDITION: Metal retains 70% of its original finish with a general patina forming on the frame. Wood is very good with minor handling marks and scratches. Hand guard is solid with no visible cracks. Bore is heavily frosted with good overall rifling. Mechanically fine. JWA
