Features rapid taper round barrel with sporting blade front sight and slot filler in rear slot, half magazine, takedown configuration, all blue finish overall, Climbin' Lyman side sight, hard rubber Winchester shotgun buttplate. These extra lightweight lever actions brought the Winchester name to the forefront in the early turn of century with big game hunters from the Northeast to the Northwest. Chambered in the powerful .45-90 cartridge, these rifles where more than suitable for any North American big game. Very fine overall with a bright bore with sharp land and grooves. Takedown action is still very tight. Two piece walnut stocks are very fine with most all finish remaining however a bit dull and thin in some areas. Mechanics are crisp and properly functioning. Blue finish is very fine as over 85% remains with typical losses on bottom of receiver from carrying and at leading edge of muzzle and magazine area.
