Manufactured in 1973 to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the Colt Single Action Army. The "Peacemaker Centennial" closely replicates a U.S Cavalry issued revolver. Blackpowder frame with case hardened frame and hammer. One-piece walnut grips with "cartouches" on both sides. Left side of frame marked "U.S." 7 - 1/2" barrel with correct high blade front sight and "donut" ejector rod head. Correct military sub-inspector stamps in appropriate places. Housed in a chest style case with inner glass lid. Burgundy "french fitted" interior. Case and revolver are in excellent, nearly new condition overall. Revolver appears unfired, with very sight wear to muzzle. Overall a desirable 2nd generation revolver and case. -MKS-
