An icon of World War II and the Cold War era, the Browning 1919 served the United States and allies well with its rugged design. This semi-automatic converted example is constructed with an Israeli parts kit and KMP Classic Arms sideplate. Reapplied parkerized finish throughout. Converted to 7.62x51mm NATO by the IDF with new or modified components including the barrel, bolt, and cover. Left side plate and bolt bear "7.62" markings. Right sideplate is marked with model and KMP manufacturer information mimicking the stamping on an original gun. Classic perforated barrel shroud with A6 flash hider and wood carry handle. Flip up blade front sight and ladder rear. Accompanied by an olive drab painted 1942 Colson Corp. M2 tripod, pintle, and T&E mechanism. CONDITION: Very good as remanufactured with some areas of light to moderate finish wear. Bright bore displays well defined rifling. Mechanically fine. Tripod is very good showing some minor paint loss. An eye-catching addition to any military firearms collection.
