Commercial Springfield Armory National Match M1 Garand with Springfield marked sling and buttstock cleaning kit. This rifles utilize a commercial Springfield receiver, with mixed U.S. military parts. This rifle has the correct National Match sights and operating rod. Stock bedded and Department of Defense marked. Gas plug is early World War II style. Bolt carrier is "IHC" marked, indicating International Harvester production. Other parts examined indicate Springfield production. CONDITION: Overall excellent. Metal is very good with light wear on sharp edges. The serial number and sight markings are painted red, most likely to be visible in the prone position. Stock is excellent with light handling marks. Bore is clean with good rifling left. Bore measures a 2.5, throat measures a 1. Sling is excellent, as is the cleaning kit. JA
