Manufacture was discontinued in 2017. Manufactured under the "BLUE DOME" in Hartford, Connecticut, at the original Colt Manufacturing Site. These superb quality, hand tuned single actions were finished and made to extremely exact specifications, and are considered to be some of the finest single actions ever produced. Finished in a highly polished deep blue with vivid case colors and mounted with checkered black plastic grips with patriotic eagle and "US" in vignette. 4-3/4" barrel with two-line USFA barrel address and marked "45 COLT" on left side of barrel. Case colored frame has three-line patent marking; and frame, trigger guard, and butt are all serialized like the original. The action is highly tuned and very smooth with a crisp trigger pull. Gun comes in the original black box with instruction manual and felt gun sleeve. CONDITION: Extremely fine with evidence of test firing but no indication of actual use. A very faint trace of a cylinder line is present. Box is fine as well. An opportunity to obtain tomorrow's collectible today. TDW
