The Model 64 is referred to as the .38 Military & Police Stainless with six shot, double action, fixed sights, round butt and heavy barrel. These were originally built for the Oklahoma Highway Patrol. This example is stamped "CYA" on left side of frame, not listed in the Smith & Wesson book, but believed to be from the California Youth Authority. It has been used and holster carried with storage marks, light drag line, not much cylinder burn, perfect action and a nice, clean bore. Features Smith & Wesson silver medallion checkered walnut grips. This is the first such marked Smith & Wesson we have encountered.
