Initially developed in 1981 as an antimateriel rifle system for the US Armed Forces, several hundred units were produced by 1983, seeing deployment in Beirut, Panama, Grenada, and Bosnia. Production continued until 1993, with some remaining unsold rifles, including this example, purchased by Ultimate Accuracy in 2003. This hearty rifle system features a 29" matte finished fluted barrel with muzzle break chambered in .50 BMG mated to a single shot bolt action. Furniture includes a pistol grip composite buttstock with adjustable cheek riser and rubber recoil pad, as well as a composite forend mounted with a sturdy folding bipod. A German made Nickel Supra 8-32x scope with sunshade is provided for sighting. Rifle is housed in a fitted hard sided Pelican case. CONDITION: Very good overall. Nearly all of the factory applied finish is retained with some areas of light silvering and wear. Furniture is fine. Bore is bright displaying sharp rifling. Optic is clear.
