In 1973 for the 100th Anniversary of the Colt Peacemaker, Colt produced what many consider to be the finest commemorative revolvers that they ever produced. This example is one of the copies of the original Colt 1873 US Cavalry model in .45 Colt. It was finished like the originals in blue and case color with one piece walnut grips that have a cartouche just like originals. Features the old black powder frame, donut ejector head, serial numbers on guards, frame, and cylinder. Comes in original case that was made for the commemorative Frontier, not this gun, and with the Colt wood grain box. CONDITION: No cylinder line and never fired, with very minor storage and handling marks. Colt box with significant handling and corner wear.
