Manufactured circa 2007 by Miroku in Japan and imported by BACO Inc. of Morgan, Utah. 18 - 1/2" barrel chambered in .44-40 Winchester with carbine front and rear sights. Full length magazine tube with stainless steel barrel bands. Receiver is scroll engraved on a punchdot background with right side featuring a portrait of John Wayne in his own vignette with rope border, 3 ribbons reading "COURAGE / STRENGTH / GRIT" and "JOHN WAYNE / JW / CENTENNIAL" in 3 additional ribbons. Left side of receiver features a vignette of Wayne on a horse with rope border with 3 ribbons reading "1907 / JOHN WAYNE AMERICAN / 2007" and a portrait of The Duke in a rope border. Factory large loop lever. 2 piece walnut stock and forearm with blued carbine buttplate. Complete with factory box serial numbered gun and original shipping sleeve. CONDITION: Excellent+ and near mint, with virtually all of the original finishes remaining. Stock and forearm are in matching condition with no major signs of distress. Bore is bright with sharp rifling, possibly unfired. Box is excellent with high edge wear and some storage related marks.
