Attractive specimen of the most iconic profile American sub-machine gun. Unmarked Cutts compensator with typical Colt address on left side of receiver. Upper and lower assemblies match serial number. Appropriate Lyman rear sight. Anchor mark present at forward end of buttstock assembly. Model 1921 parts inside. One 50 round Bridgeport magazine, one 50 round Auto Ordnance (New York) contemporary drum, as well as three 30 round stick magazines are included. The Colt Thompson exhibited the highest quality finish and this gun is no exception. Buttstock has been sanded and refinished and buttplate is somewhat proud at the toe of the butt. Very fine to extremely fine. High quality refinish on metal parts now showing some slight high edge wear. Lower assembly is original finish, starting to turn a pleasing patina. Wood has some light handling marks but still extremely serviceable and attractive. Mechanics are fine. Fine bore with some very minor pitting. A very attractive and fine specimen. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS CURIO & RELIC ELIGIBLE.
