Exceptionally attractive and rare Curio and Relic eligible fully transferable Mauser broomhandle Schnellfeuer Machine Pistol with Nazi Eagle firing proof on left side of chamber flat below crown over “U” proof. Otherwise typical Mauser markings and proofs with “N” and “R” selector switch. Right receiver panel has absolutely clear “WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER OBERNDORF A. NECKAR D.R.P.u.A.P.” One Mauser marked 20 round magazine is included. Although these pistols were manufactured and marketed primarily for police and government use, some of them found their way into service with German military forces as well. One is more likely to find this with the later manufactured specimens as this guns serial number indicates it is. CONDITION: Overall appearance and finish is extremely fine to near excellent original finish with some slight scratches in places and just a little loss of finish at the muzzle and on the underside of the barrel and at the selector switch. Lettering of the markings is sharp and clear. Replacement wood grips extremely fine to near excellent with non-matching four-digit number visible on inside of one panel. Mechanics are fine. Bore is very fine with shiny rifling with frosting in the grooves. Bolt face is near excellent. This is a select fire machine gun. A wonderful find for the discerning German machine gun collector and broomhandle Mauser collector alike. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 AS CURIO AND RELIC ELIGIBLE. JWK 2020-05-102
