H&R produced approximately 54,000 of these guns between 1921 and the passage of the National Firearms Act in 1934. Very popular for both home defense and the hunting of small game, it's no wonder why so many of these were produced. There are also numerous small variations, making these fun and interesting to collect. Marked with the Harrington & Richardson address on the left side of the receiver. Barrel is marked "410-12m/mCHOKE". Blued barrel with a blued frame. Checkered wood grip, plain wood forend. Matching numbers. CONDITION: Fine with 60% blue on frame and some minor surface rust and discoloration. 20% barrel blue mixed with a pleasing patina. All markings are clear. Wood has some light handling marks with sharp checkering. Bore is fine. Fine mechanical function. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM WILL INCUR A $5.00 TRANSFER TAX IF TRANSFERRED ON AN ATF FORM 4. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 CLASSIFIED AS "ANY OTHER WEAPON". GR
