Beginning production in 1921, a total of 54,000 Handy Guns were produced before the National Firearms Act in 1934. Due to their numerous (albeit small) variations, these were found to be popular firearms during their time, and are still found to be quite popular with collectors today. The left side of the frame is marked "HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON ARMS CO./ WORCESTER. MASS. U.S.A." with "410-12m/m" on top of the barrel. Matching numbers include the frame, barrel, and forend. Metal components retain their factory applied blue finish. Saw handle wood grip is checkered. CONDITION: Metal components retain good amounts of their factory applied finish, showing edge wear on the frame as well as wear and thinning, showing through to gray on the barrel. Bore shows evidence of firing, but is otherwise bright. Wood grip shows smoothing and some wear to the checkering, with dings and handling marks present on the grip and forend. THIS IS A NATIONAL FIREARMS ACT ITEM AND REQUIRES BATF APPROVAL PRIOR TO TRANSFER. THIS ITEM WILL INCUR A $5.00 TRANSFER TAX IF TRANSFERRED ON AN ATF FORM 4. THIS ITEM IS FULLY TRANSFERABLE ON AN ATF FORM 3 OR 4 CLASSIFIED AS "ANY OTHER WEAPON". MLW
