Produced as a semi-automatic version of the H&R Reising Model 50, which was produced for the Marine Corps in World War II as an alternative to the Thompson. Standard configuration with "cannon" muzzle that has dovetailed front sight, adjustable rear sight, distinct underarm charging handle, case colored safety. H&R Model 50 magazine with appropriate legends. CONDITION: Excellent, retaining virtually all of the appropriate factory finishes with some minor marks acquired from storage and occasional handling; most at left side of receiver with scattered minor marks and top of barrel with some rubbing to silver, possibly from being in a rack. Action works appropriately when cycled by hand, bore is excellent with crisp rifling. A really nice example. EW
