Japan. The moon vase, with the mark of "Zuizan for Koshida". The moon vase is decorated with birds and flowering cherry trees on one panel, the verso decorated with birds and chicks in a bamboo grove. The vase with Foo dogs on the shoulders. The covered powder jar with a woodpecker decoration on the lid and marked on the underside of the lid and the base of the bowl. Size: Moon vase 12" T x 9" W. Covered powder jar 3 - 1/2" Dia. Both items are accompanied by wood stands. Evidence of minor restoration. Very good condition overall.
