Standard features include .69 caliber, smooth bore, single shot muzzle loader, 42" round barrel, three band. Lock is dated 1822 with U.S. eagle. Heart shaped hammer cut-out. "V.P." stamp on left barrel with eagle head. Barrel is a grey-brown patina with some moderate pitting at breech. Stock has large chunk of wood missing at right of tang, approximately 1", and 2" repaired crack at wrist. Visible cartouche. Flathead ramrod. Working. Dirty bore.
