Serial No. 7834. A veteran of the Great War. This pistol was manufactured in 1917. Given the demand for weapons and the severity of the war, it is still surprising that a pistol of this period could survive let alone in nice condition and still having all the matching number parts inside and out. This gun has seen used but remains in excellent all original condition. It exhibits high edge wear on rails, barrel and side plate but is clean, no pitting and remains with at least 85% of its original finish, basically just clean holster wear as even the grip straps retain most of the factory blue finish. The bore is beautiful and the action is perfect. The grips are nice with no cracks. Has all the appropriate inspector markings. Still has lots of straw colors intact. Original mismatched wood bottom magazine. Our thanks to Mister Luger for completely disassembling each Luger in this collection for internal inspection.
