Serial No. 82508. Manufactured in 1915 by Springfield armory under Colt pat. It is a standard .45 Automatic as manufactured with Springfield Armory stamped slide, United States Property on left frame along with Springfield ordinance bomb which can also be found stamped on back left side of slide as well. All proper WW1 small parts, checkered. Original diamond walnut grips. Later magazine stamped C-L. Mint bore on replaced barrel. Fine action. No original finish, gun is spotty grey metal color. Grips show much wear. Rare Pre WW1 Contract 1911.
